This is it ?

Kitsch, as only Americans can be .
That's how M.J. memorial was . And that's how he lived his entire life, so he was supposed to like what they assembled for him but am not sure about it .
They went beyond any expectation .
"They" are the Jackson family, dressed in their elegant Armani suits, and the organisers : they offered to the world a monstrous show .
I had promised myself I wouldn't watch it, because I didn't grow up with his music [and maybe also those who attended are not so grown up] but I witnessed the fall of the Berlin wall and Lady Diana's funeral so I couldn't miss this either .
Everything in the show was fake : from the tears shed, to the representation of the human being they wanted to give .
The American MP shouted that a man is not guilty of the crimes he's accused til proven thus .
Rev. Sharpton explained to his children that there was nothing strange in Michael, but that those who dared to question his innocence, those were the strange .
Of all this circus, the only credible ones were Stevie Wonder who'd have never imagined to write such a song as the one he performed, so perfect for the occasion, years before, Barry Gordy who remembered with extreme lucidity the story of the greatest entertainer ever, making clear that he loved him though he didn't approve of everything he did in his life, and Brooke Shields, who gave us a picture of her dearest friend , the little prince who liked to smile .
All the rest was garbage in which also Michael's children were dragged into .
Their father had tried to protect them all their life from the public eye but after Janet whispered to her ear "speak up sweetheart, speak up", Paris had to share her grief with the world .
While Prince and Blanket were lost in their crowded extended family with a chewing gum in their mouth and a doll looking like m.J. in their hands , it seemed that she wanted to clear her father from all the dust we threw on him, a loving daddy who was loved back by his children and not the monster described by the media .
Michael Jackson was no saint and no devil, just a human being like us, in desperate search of love .
We didn't need to know about a phone call done by the M.E. [and if we want to be thick, probably paid by some Bahraini or Emarati Sheikh] to acknowledge his generosity .
We didn't need all this farce .
May his soul rest in peace .
